Body Image and Mental Health Awareness Challenge:
Make a list of songs that always make you want to sing your heart out and dance.
There is nothing more powerful to me than music. I am not afraid to admit I am the girl you pull up next to at the stoplight screaming Taylor Swift's song "We are never getting back together" with absolutely no shame. Music can lift you even at your lowest of times. It can speak to you both through words and through each instrument you hear coming together to create a symphony of vibrations. Energy is powerful, so next time you need to be reminded to dance your heart, here are 6 of my go-to songs.
1. "Rhythm Inside" by Calum Scott
2. T" by Everything" - Zootpia's (Gazelle) Chakira. (Hands down my FAVORITE)
3. "Look at Her Now" by Selena Gomez. Selena's strength is so under-appreciated. She has so many videos talking about how she struggled with balancing social media and finding her happiness within herself. She is such an inspiration. She's had her love life in the spotlight for so long, but even with all that hardship, "Look at her Now"
4. "Toes" by Zac Brown Band. I mean, no explanation necessary.
5."Have it All" by Jason Maraz. Let Jason remind you just how much you deserve every single dream and happiness you want in this world.
6: "Biscuits" Kacey Musgraves. She is without a doubt one of my top 3 favorite music artists of all time. Her songs are blunt, funny, and filled with lyrical genius.
